The Pérez-Reverte´s articles in Diario Pueblo about the final period of the Spanish Sahara
Abstract
The journalist Arturo Pérez-Reverte was a special envoy of the newspaper Pueblo to the Western Sahara colony. He was one of the Spanish journalists who paid more attention to the final phase of the Spanish Sahara, from the colony, and one of those who then showed a critical attitude for the way and the decision of the Government of Arias-Juan Carlos I to deliver the territory to Morocco and Mauritania. This work provides the chronology of the articles, an analysis of contents and explanations of the interruption during several days of the chronicles and the departure of the journalist from the colony once the entry of the Moroccan army in the capital of Sahara.
