Peer review process

Guerra Colonial digital journal guarantees the publication of research papers submitted to peer review by the double-blind procedure.

The journal undertakes that the works will be evaluated by two external reviewers, who will not know at any time the identity of the author of the text. We will also ensure that there is no fraud in the process and the texts sent to the reviewers will be checked beforehand to ensure that they do not have any marks or signs that could identify the authors. Any indication of fraudulent action detected by authors or editors must be reported immediately to the journal's management or, where appropriate, to the Editorial Board.

With this measure we aim to guarantee the scientific quality of Guerra Colonial throughout the editorial process, as well as the secret identity of the authors and the non-influence of personal aspects in the evaluation of the works. Similarly, the identity of the external evaluators will be kept confidential.
