El papel de la OSCE en la prevención de conflictos en Europa: el caso de la República de Moldavia y la región separatista de Transnistria

Resumen

Desde 1993 la Misión de la OSCE ha supervisado el conflicto entre la República de Moldavia y las autoridades separatistas de Transnistria con el objetivo de fomentar una solución pacífica. A pesar de los esfuerzos significativos de la OSCE el conflicto permanece congelado. La invasión rusa de Ucrania en 2022 ha incrementado las preocupaciones sobre la estabilidad en la región, generando temores por una posible escalada. Este artículo analiza el papel de la OSCE en la mediación del conflicto, examina la influencia de otros actores implicados y analiza cómo el conflicto en Ucrania ha impactado en su misión en Moldavia.
